A limited edition book, which records the way ordinary, mundane and decorative objects are used to lend personal meaning to the space in which we live. The book examines the most revealing of interior spaces, the fireplace and mantelpiece. From minimalist displays to more ad-hoc arrangements; each composition offers an insight into not only the owner’s taste but also their way of life.

Collaged illustrations, printed silk-screen and ink-jet on decorator’s lining paper.

About sense of place in artist books

I am an artist. I find the ephemeral place in my art conjured up through practice. I sift through raw materials with my hopes and dreams, and ideas take form as if intended.
